Winter scenes with a hope of spring . . .

There is a Buddhist saying that, "When the conditions are right, the blossoms appear." Out walking several days ago before our most recent snow, I saw, in the uniform winter grayness around me, some buds daring to show themselves. Ahh, how sweet, that the "right  conditions" are approaching. Even if we can't feel them or see them, Nature is doing her business as usual, and we must have faith that these tiny, intrepid buds will hang on until they can make their debut as full fledged blossoms, which will give way to the green lush of new leaves that are nowhere in sight in the images below.
